- Your order will be ready on the day requested
- All rentals are for a period of seven calendar days. Daily rates are not available.
- All rentals are non-refundable once they have left the Dovetail location.
- Full rental fees must be paid before pickup of your order.
- Rental clock starts at pickup time. Props are due back at the same time as pickup at the end of the rental period. Late items may incur another week's rate.
- Dovetail requires 24 hours from the date of purchase to prepare your order. If you need an item in less time, please call and we will do our best to accommodate.
- Items cancelled after confirmation of order incur a 35% restocking fee.
- The renter is responsible for pick up and drop off of the prop(s) and must provide Dovetail with contact information for the courier, as well as scheduled pickup time.
- Props are the responsibility of the renter while in their possession, including during transit.
- Props are rented "as is"; Minimal wear and tear on prop items should be expected. Vintage or antique props have normal wear and tear or a desirable patina for items of this age.
- Any loss or damage (including makeup or other stains) incurred will result in cleaning/repair/replacement fees charged to the renter's credit card.
- Props must not be altered in any way (unless given prior approval) and must be returned in the same condition that they left in.
- Rentals must be returned with the same packing materials with which they are received. Any lost packing blankets will be subject to a $25 fee.
- Pickup/Dropoff hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm.
- Long term rentals are available. Please contact us for special pricing.
- Lessee confirms that by placing an order, they indemnify and hold harmless Dovetail Props and its employees from any and all claims or lawsuits resulting from any activity in connection with the products being leased. Please contact Dovetail if you have any questions.
- Customer assumes all risk of loss and shall include, but not be limited to, risks while in transit by any means, at all studios, while on Customer's premises, and while in Customer's use. Customer is responsible for picking up and returning the equipment to/from the rental facility during normal business hours.
- All props shall be insured for the full replacement cost without deduction for depreciation.
- Customer shall name Dovetail as a loss payee on the property insurance and additionally insured on their liability insurance.
